MAJÏ’s musical journey began as an instrumentalist, picking up the bass guitar after being inspired by rock classics like “Sweet Child Of Mine” by Guns ‘N Roses, and evolved through DJing hip-hop parties in his teens; these early experiences demonstrated the depth and dichotomy of his musical style. Harnessing the power of meditation, MAJÏ crafts mystical tracklists that exhilarate listeners with their cohesive unpredictability. His sets effortlessly transition from tech house beats with old Indian vocals to Afrobeats with Latin rhythms and hip-hop elements. Manraj, translating to “King of the Heart” in Punjabi, magnifies the call to follow your heart, leveraging his sonic influence to take listeners on a spiritual journey with traditional beats grounded in ancient and ethereal sounds.
MAJÏ debuted in 2023 with a series of DJ mixes that garnered global attention and followed up in 2024 with his original tracks like “Circles” and “The Aroux”, showcasing his talent and skills as a self-taught producer.
